But I was the most accurate in the class. The only time I was ever good (relative to everyone else) at anything in PE.
I always wondered if I was only good at it for a beginner because I was doing it so wrong.

It's kind of interesting that archery is popular here. Fitting, I guess.

Today I finally found a fleece to replace my old one!
My old one is a really cheap one I picked up for school, which I ended up wearing continuously for any outdoor activity since then, including accompanying me on every mountain since I started climbing. It has faded from black to a light brown, and developed melted holes along the seams at some point in it's history (??? no idea where they came from). I love it, but by this point people have begun to hound me about replacing it (rightfully so, alas. It was getting a little homeless chic), and I was unable to find them in the store I originally bought it from.
However, I have finally picked up a higher-end replacement for it second hand, which I hope will accompany me for many more mountains!

They're generally used further out at sea I think, when the ship is cruising in a straight line for a while. They're winched down on to the deck for storage.
They don't make much of a difference, it's just that even the tiniest extra bit of fuel savings make a difference when you're cruising for months at absolute minimum cost.
I just like things powered by the wind, really!

I think that one of the nicest things about Autumn is being able to experience "morning light" again. Throughout the summer, unless you have to be up very early you normally wake up by the point the sun is high in the sky. As you travel through autumn, the morning shadows and cool air return.
