ITT: We post about things we have finished and tools to help each other get them done.
Here be a little background noise for you. Studies show that a small amount of background noise can help people concentrate better and have more creative thought processes.

Hey, that's VIP QUALITY

Ok, right now I have to prepare tons of reps for Anki since I didn't add them at the spot.

Protip: If you want to learn Japanese, never use KD (Kanjidamage) as it is negletic in teaching you. That's my opinion if you give a shit

I always tell other people I'm doing something when I really want something done. That way I'll feel guilty if I don't finish what I'm doing.

Today I finished building a computer for my mom. Fixed my sisters computer. And finished packing for uni. I feel so productive.

Finished my Japaneses homework. Went completely over board and did it in kanji (even though it was kana/grammer work). Took quite awhile longer than normal, but I had fun.

It's great for learning the kanji themselves. Since you learn the radicals/kanji that make up the words before you learn more complex ones that those in turn also help make up. (Which helps you remember the strokes since they aren't completely abstract.)

The down side is it doesn't do conversational/grammar use. But it's not designed for that. Just get another tool, my favorite is 'Tae Kim's Japanese Grammar Guide'.

Let's see....

Today I,
Cleaned my boots, paid my bills, organized records, finished my reports, washed my car, cleaned my kitchen/dining room of junk, cleaned my yard, gathered all my power tools and put them in the shed, and took out all my trash.

Wow, all that for not going on a certain imageboard.

I like the idea behind the KD system, but the dude has no clue what the fuck he's talking about. In my opinion the idea is just poorly executed. Also: There are Jouyou Kanji missing and I believe he got a few meanings wrong.

I can vouch that, I was actually surprised that I seem to be able to study better in a slightly noisy environment, compared to when I'm in my completely silent room. I always have that urge to go get some biscuits after a while or walk around the house.

日本語を勉強してる人が多そうよね。

Myself: I have to do a certain minimum to look for a job this morning, but then I'm want to get back into studying Chinese, catch up on Anki reviews for Greek/Japanese and meditate in the evening for an hour.

Today I went to my first of three classes. Math, Sci-fi lit, and philosophy. Tomorrow I have my last class, asian history.

School started today

Today I worked on my model rocket and wasted a lot of time. Tomorrow I have to water the garden, study, attend school, mow the lawn, paint the rocket, and study some more. In that order. I'm probably also going to waste a lot more time.

This tool is godsent for me. I really love it. If I have time limit for work and the reward of play coming to me, I actually get more done that I would otherwise.

I abide by the two minute rule.

If it takes less than two minutes to do it, then you're not allowed *not* to do it.

Today I got up early, packed for the trip, and printed out my bus tickets, and remembered to return some library books for a friend.

Hey, for me, this is a lot.

Finally finished a piece of modular origami that I had put off for 2 weeks. Glad it's done, but unhappy that I chose orange and green for colors since it's round shape now reminds of a pumpkin everytime I glance at it.
