Do you know well-made, comfy short films?

I find them perfect too watch as of duration, short films are mostly more artistic and experimental too.

This one i watched at a film festival, can't find it online:

This was neat too:

Don Hertzfeldt's:
everything will be okay, i am so proud of you, and it's such a beautiful day (These three should be watched as a set, but are individual stories). They're a character study of a man named Bill suffering from an unknown mental illness. Told with incredibly black humor and stick figures. They nearly made me cry. If you watch these, please, tell me your thoughts.

World of Tomorrow. This one's just all sorts of strange.

I really liked some of the animator expo shorts from last year, if you're into that. They've been taken off the site now, but you can still find them elsewhere. This one is one of my favourites:

The whole set is up on nyaa if you want them all (search animator expo).

La Maison en Petits Cubes (つみきのいえ)

"As his town is flooded by water, an aged widower is forced to add additional levels on to his home in order to stay dry. But when he accidentally drops his favourite smoking pipe into the lower submerged levels of his home, his search for the pipe eventually makes him relive scenes from his eventful life (including his time before the flooding began)."

More melancholy than strictly comfy, a short story of reminiscence.

Nebraska (2013)

Can't recommend this movie enough. Slow, fairly comfy and certainly has its humorous moments. Definitely underrated on IMDB, that's for sure. 9/10
If you like a little odd humor, give it a shot. It's not anything spectacular and that's exactly why it shines so much.

Yeah, only it's not a short film. I liked it too, Bruce Dern is one of my favorite 70s actors. I wish it wasn't filmed on digital camera though.

I think there's a movie thread somewhere down the catalog where you could discuss long films.
