Oh yes, I forgot to mention that the Designer's Republic also helped with that. I think the devs were in contact with a lot of people who did music, designs and other stuff in Sheffield. I remember someone from The Black Dog (an electronic group under Warp at the time) telling about how they helped with the sound design of the game.

Also, as for other comfy PC games, I recommend Recettear, VA-11 Hall-A, Eufloria, Proteus (and its mod Purgateus), and Torus Trooper.
