Comfortable Games

Hardwar is one of my favourite games of all time and it's pretty much unheard of, you'll be hard-pressed to find a person who played it.
I think it's really comfy because of how it's a space sim similar to X in what you can do, but it's set on a relatively small area on Titan (one of Saturn's moons), so instead of the cosmic void you get a nice reddish/orange palette and instead of a huge expanse of asteroids you get a nice small map that you can hold entirely your head, while still taking some time and effort to traverse. Basically it's a space sim, but on a smaller scale.
The music was also a compilation of some track by some artists from Warp Records in the 90s, and I discovered many artists I liked through the OST.
Plus, the dogfighting is really fun and there's a lot of stuff you can do in the game with the community patches.

The game's abandonware at this point, and can be a bit tricky to install if you don't want to mount the CDs every time, so here's a guide in case you want to check it out: sgt.hootr.club/hardwar/
Don't forget to visit Captain Zedo's website and read the guides to learn how to play the game, there's no tutorial and little information on how to get going in the game itself.
