I take transit to work. It's an hour and a half each way. I've been using this time to do some light reading. Recently caught up on Spice and Wolf and Youjo Senki.
I hope in future volumes we'll get more short stories of Lawrence and Holo during their travels. Tales from their bathhouse are fine, but I really liked their stories while on the road more.
It's only been 2 weeks, I've pretty much forgotten what happened in vol6 of Youjo Senki, except for Sue being a complete idiot. Gonna have to reread this before vol7.
I think I'm going to start on That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime next.

I'm enjoying work now more than I have recently. I had been working alone on a project that started in February that slowed down due to the time it takes to get things approved and to request information needed to proceed. But now, I'm on a new project with 2 others and tasks are getting completed and sent out at a good pace. It's nice to have others that you can really discuss your project with instead of just reporting to a manager.

this site is very comfy, and i've actually spent my whole entire day browsing this place. but i don't plan on coming back here, or any other image/textboard for that matter, at least for a while.

kind of a shame...

Just finished eating dinner with my family. Just talked about the week, nothing out of the ordinary, but it's always nice to get to talk to everyone together, since everyone's always so busy.

I'm kinda glad I don't like coffee, not gonna lie. Saves me money, but I guess I can't enjoy late night coffee like you guys.

post reply: Breakfast Edition

Had a sausage/egg/cheese croissant (and a muhfuggin coffee) from Tim Horton's this am.

Now I'm sitting at work watching it lightly rain and everyone in the office is leaving me to my own devices.

Let's get comfy my dudes

It's currently raining where I work as well. Just a nice, light drizzle.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

I feel like I haven't been as creative as I should be recently, and I think it's affecting me in negative ways. I don't like that everything I do in my free time is consuming rather than creating. Because of this I've decided to force myself to spend 30 minutes every other day writing and 30 minutes every other day practicing programming. Hopefully it'll help me feel like I'm doing something productive in some of my free time.

I've felt the same way this past week. I've not been doing much of anything this past week because of being suck, and I feel dull and like a waste. Fortunately I've also forced myself to do some programming even when I felt shit, and it's helped a bit.
What type of writing do you like to do?

Just fictional short stories and poems. It's the only art form I'm even remotely good at, unless you count programming as an art form.

I used to be really into writing, but I kind of realized I was shit, so I stopped (that and I stopped enjoying it much). I would really like to continue a bit, but I think it'd be more fun to make some sort of ARG out of a story.

It finally snowed in my land!

Same here. I recently moved from a low to a mid-altitude mountainous area.

In my previous home region, winter was getting depressing. It really was becoming a long autumn-y season: rainy, gray skies and shit.

Now I get to enjoy RealWinter™, and its snowy luminous landscapes.

Friend at work put in his notice. I have to pick up stuff he’ll no longer be doing. No raise, of course. Otherwise, an okay day, cold though.

Not too bad - I was exhausted this week and the last so my partner and I took it easy this weekend. Got a lot of work done on my server and overall feeling refreshed!

I hope you have a wonderful day.
