I think there is no room for traditional religions in a modern society.
Churches are corrupt, religious zeal leada to wars and generally completely irrational reactions like how they banned Harry Potter in a school in the US because muh evil witches. It's really backward.

Since scientists discovered the vastness of the universe and can pretty plausibly explain how the earth came to be most religious text were just plain disproven. No god created the earth 5000 years ago, magic isn't real, the earth isn't just an island floating in water etc. etc.
The Age of Enlightenment finally created a disparity between belief and reality. You now HAVE to ignore facts in order to belief or you HAVE to ignore many of the accounts in religious texts and treat them as faslehoods which, imho, renders the whole belief as a whole irrelevant.
Religion just isn't compatible with the vastness of a globalised world and scientific progress.
And I personally can't (even though I really tried to) just ignore all our knowledge and still wholeheartedly believe that there's a God and that Jesus walked on water etc.
