This is a niche comfiness, I guess. And a very sad one at the same time.

I love the collaboration that Boris and Z.O.A did recently, リフライン -If You / En Attendant Godot-. It's a single thirty three minute song, with the slow drumming and mellow lead guitar familiar from some Boris records like Flood. Beautiful and pure comfy.

I have a thing for interviews in songs.

"If they lose their incentive to make music because they're not making money off of it they're not musicians;
they're business people."

Thanks so much for the one with the Ian Mackaye interview I had never heard it before. This group is one I was just introduced to recently and it seems no one else knows about this duo group, Sunset Headrest:

I think I posted this a while back but I never included the title.
Anyways I feel like its still very topical for the current global events.
Enjoy!

Well, it can't be bad.
Hearing MONO live was perhaps one of the best experiences in my life.

Man, I love BoC.
I wish they recorded some new album. There's been the WARP30 mixtape which you've linked to, but other than that there hasn't been a lot of stuff since Tomorrow's Harvest... which came out 7 years ago already.

Lots of people are flocking back to Tomorrow's Harvest as it's a great soundtrack for the currently ongoing situation.

Three amazing albums. If you like 2814 I suggest 新しい日の誕生 (English: Birth of a new Day) as it's my favorite album by the duo.

This song has always hit a sweet spot for me between the acoustic guitar, the anxious but soft singing, and the rolling drums.

I haven't had a good cry in a couple years but broke down this afternoon and listened to this mix.

There's something laced in this one, I can't say what it is.
Disguised as an OST, with playful CGI rendered for a cover.
But I just imagine walking through fireflies.
And the path behind you dissolves. Flowers wilt as you walk past them. They're closing their eyelids, accepting the entrance to your past.
Yet when a firefly lands on a petal... that's when the flower glistens a reflective emerald blue. Nothing would ever have you suspect they're going out.
The white noxious Pikmin slide down each stem, and your shoelaces catch some purple algae.
It amazes me this had a present day, and I only wonder when your present day will be.
When you blend into the generations before you.
