Life and such.

1 Name: Anonymous : 2013-05-12 05:38
Warm weather with some showers moved in to my area recently.

It felt as the winter would never end. Now that the good part of the year is upon us, what do you guys plan on doing? So much to do, so little time...I've never been as ecstatic about the possibilities of life.
2 Name: Anonymous : 2013-05-12 15:55
Indeed, this winter was very long. It's so satisfying to finally see all the flowers popping up again and to hear the birds whistling in the trees with the freshest green.

I haven't got much concrete plans for this summer, but I think it might be time to look for a job. I hope I can find something that isn't just physical labour.

The crickets too, my god how I missed their chirping.

Something about warm summer nights make everything seem so nostalgic and as if it's all going to be alright.

It was cold today in the morning which is weird for a California summer. It got warmer at noon and now it's hot. I actually prefer the winter over any other season.

I'm going to (hopefully) get a job at a store called Tokyo Music soon. It sells music and Japanese nerd stuff. I usually go for the music since it's the only place that has old dub records like stuff by Scientist and Prince Jammy. It also has really obscure independent artists which are always fun to discover. I'll be working morning till noon, so most of my day is going to be free. Even when I'm there I'll probably just be playing grand strategy games on my laptop since there won't be many customers coming that early. Afterwards I'll go swimming.

For me it's the opposite. It's the cold winter nights that give me that feeling.
5 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-03 23:41
I really like the Scientist!

I like to lie in the hammock and read during the summer. Unfortunately it has been pretty cool here so I might have to wait a little while.
6 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-04 01:48

That sounds like a pretty nice life.
7 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-04 08:24
It's sunny, so I'm cleaning the house today!
8 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-04 15:13
Showers have been the norm here lately. I keep riding my bike anyway though. So nice to ride along the trail every morning on my way to work. Can't wait for summer vacation time.
9 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-04 16:13
A wonderful idea. I think I'll join you.
10 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-05 03:47
My birthday is coming up and I'm not gonna remind my parents to see if they remember on their own.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-05 09:25
When's your birthday? I'll try to remember.

Thank you! I had a wonderful birthday; it was very relaxing.
16 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-08 17:52
It finally stopped raining here, I'm taking a bike ride by the river.
17 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-09 09:52
I made a large breakfast and made it look nice and cute. Getting romantic with yourself is the best.
18 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-10 00:37
That sounds really nice. I'll be with you in spirit.
19 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-11 22:52
It was nice, I think I'll go again tomorrow. I should try to find some new places to bike at though.

Happy Birthday!

I got to visit with a friend today and she showed me her cool Japanese cell phone. For some reason I get more work don in cafes than I do in my room.
22 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-18 07:04
thank you

I had such a feel-good day. I rode my bike almost 20 miles to the city. All the while I had Escala and a vocaloid producer called “whoo” playing in my ears. Green trees and plant-life against azure skies and a wonderful breeze the whole way. I saw a flatscreen HDMI monitor on side of the road for free! I’m going to give it to my sister. After I saw a turtle trying to cross the road. I picked it up and carried it the rest of the way so it would not get run over.

In town I saw my therapist and had a good session with good advice. After I went to a local food market and got spinach, lettuce, and break. Also I decided to try something new and bought a seaweed bar. And the cashier filled up my water bottle for me, which I thought was really nice of her!
I later sat on a park bench and just let the wind blow over me and drank water for a while. Now I’m sitting at a big table in a large library on my netbook!I had such a feel-good day. I would love to read more about your adventures.

Last night I got bored so I started driving around at 2 am. It was eerie. There were tons of lights on, but there wasn't a single soul out in the streets. I had on The Night by Morphine which was the perfect album for it.

Odd, the end of my post was cut off?

After a few days of feeling really down I've felt pretty good today
28 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-23 17:56
Rough winds outside really bring out a feeling of vitality.
29 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-23 21:23
I really love it when it gets windy out. Feels so nice to walk around when the weather is like that.
30 Name: A taste of summer. : 2013-06-26 00:02
Today I practiced my archery, climbed a tree, practiced archery more, then went inside when I started to hear thunder. It's raining now. It feels so nice. How I love the rain.
31 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-26 14:56
I woke up at 5:30 and went running with my friends at a park/trail. I feel horrible because this is the first time I've had any activity all summer.
32 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-26 19:08
Did you do archery from the tree? That sounds really cool.
33 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-26 20:12
It just started raining here and I couldn't agree more.
34 Name: The taste of summer. : 2013-06-27 03:44
Tonight is rain again. But I like it. I lit a small candle and set it next to my modem and spent the day just working out a few kinks on my newly built computer.
35 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-27 06:57
Where do you live? I would kill for frequent summer rains and even storms.
36 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-27 19:18
I went to an indoor rock climbing gym with my brother. It's a lot of fun but I'm still not good enough to do more than the V1s in bouldering.
37 Name: The taste of summer. : 2013-06-27 19:41
Maine, United States. We have a saying that goes "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. It'll change.
38 Name: Anonymous : 2013-06-29 03:30
That sounds pleasant. You can make your upper body really toned doing that. And with your brother? I'd love to do that with my sister.
39 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-01 15:30
I'm going jogging now. I'll be on the lookout for something neat to post about.
40 Name: The taste of summer. : 2013-07-01 16:27
My sister caught one of the wild rabbits today and brought to my room and woke me up with it.
The little guy is A-OK with humans and he just keeps hopping around my room finding places to laze about.
41 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-01 17:07
The sky was a stark blue and the sun was beaming in my face. Only the horizon was widely littered with tiny clouds. It's safe to assume that they were so tiny because they were very far away. Let me explain to you why that's amazing.

Everyone experiences the world in their own little snowglobe. You can stand in an open field and your view will be limited to whatever objects will be standing in the distance. If you look over the ocean, you will be limited by the curvature of the earth. With this in mind, you can imagine a perimeter of your observable world. I like to think of that circle as a sphere, because there's rarely any noticable depth in the sky above you.

What makes the little clouds so amazing was that they broke my snowglobe. The clouds were much farther than the towns in the distance and they made my world feel much larger. My strides felt bigger and my actions more important. I had a great run as this bigger man.

That sounds really cute! Could you upload a photo to the photoboard?
42 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-01 17:23
It's hard but it's nice to have something to do with my brother. He's seven years older than me so we never really had much in common or spent time together until recently.
43 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-01 23:15
I did that snow globe thing in elementary school with my friends. It was cool first noticing it.
44 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-02 10:10
At 1:55 am I set out to drive. I drove on this really nice road for 40 minutes with music on then went back home.

How many of you are working on the next VIPTRONIC?

I recently burned some of the fingers on my left hand, keeping me from playing guitar, so I am unable to contribute this time around.
46 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-03 17:29
Funny you mention it, I'm working on a song right now. And I also did something else, but that has to be a secret for now.
47 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-03 18:19
I sent in my entry the other day. Hopefully goreshit is on this one--I'd love to be on the same record as him (・ω・)
48 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-04 22:35
Do you mean the as-of-yet unreleased VIIIOLENCE or VIPTRONIC 9?

I submitted my track to Bear-sama a couple of weeks ago.

(´・ω・`) I'm not good with violent music, though, so I'm not very proud of it!

I'm impressed. And baffled. I dick around in music software like LMMS and similar things but I can't make stuff come together. One guy used a Nintendo DS game to make music. What was that called?

KORG DS. It's a really fun program; it's relatively easy to get something that sounds catchy.

Where did you fall asleep?
56 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-05 22:22
In my bed. I have no idea how it got inside, I let it out and it bolted.
57 Name: Anonymous : 2013-07-06 16:02
It's been raining non-stop here for the last two weeks. I don't mind the rain but I do hope it lets up soon.

I fell asleep on the beach and I saw some interesting kites.

Yesterday I woke up around 1:00PM and studied Hiragana. Then went outside from some archery practice. It was so nice out I brought out a blanket, a pillow, and some tea and sat in the sun to read my friends linguistics textbook. Got sunburned. Then I drove my scooter to the river for a swim. There was a bunch of kids there on the other side of the river. One kid was sitting in a tree over the river and was being made fun of for not wanting to go in the water because he saw a snapping turtle. I sat down next to him and told him the snapping turtles don't come after humans unless you hurt them, and that even then he does not have to go in the water if he does not want to, that it was his choice. I got him to smile and I jumped out of the tree and into the river for more swimming. After swimming back to the other side I got on my scooter and went home. Had a small dinner and went out for a run. And I ran longer than I have yet this summer! When I got back to my room I saw there was an email from my best friend saying she felt suicidal and did not know what to do. I spent until 3:00AM on a video call with her over XMPP talking her through it and making her feel better.

You sound quite humble and seem like a kind person. I envy that.

I hope you continue to have a resplendent summer.

I decided to take a walk in the summer rain. After a few minutes I discovered that what I really wanted was to walk a summer shower. Continued out of stubbornness. Someone tried to offer me a ride, which was a little embarrassing.
67 Name: The taste of summer. : 2013-07-11 01:01
Walking in the rain is always fun. Even when inside I always open my window and listen. Like tonight.
Tonight I get to fall asleep to the sound of rain in the forest.

Mine's been growing for roughly two months now. I'll probably shave it on a whim soon, seems I end up doing that a couple of times every year.

Today I watched Moribito while it rained in the morning, ran for 3.5 miles, did 20 pushups, and 20 crunches. Then took a cold shower and ate a veggie burger. I feel really good.

I made a small birthday present for someone whom I only know through an anonymous imageboard and I told them how I felt about them. They were really grateful.
I know that I'm pretty starved for positive attention so I try to be on guard against my strong reactions. But if it's something that I place value in too, then it's okay to be happy, right?

Today I got some new clothing for when I go to University on the third of September. When I got home some of the rabbits had come out and where eating the grass. I got some carrots and fed them to one with a hooked nose. It let me touch it as I fed it.

Today I drove to the bank and got a letter that said my medical services will be paid in full. Takes a big dark shadow out of my mind. I hate anything that has to do with money. It scares me. I also went to the bank and deposited my first paycheck of the summer.
Driving around on my scooter is pretty easy now. I've quickly gotten used to it and I can drive it pretty damn well. I'm glad there are no cops around here to catch me piloting an unregistered, uninspected, and unlicensed vihicle down the road at 55MPH.
Tonight I have the house to myself. I went outside with nothing but my boxers, socks, glasses, and my solar powered flashlight. I took off my glasses and looked at the stars. The black sky is clear as glass and the stars shine like raindrops in a sunbeam. I find it hard to keep balance when I'm looking straight up. I stumbled around my yard not breaking eye contact with the universe above me until my neck became sore and pinched. Living is bleak here, but I do love the forest. One of the things I will miss most when I move to the city in September is being able to look up at night and see the stars. I will miss these stars.

$20 for all of them.

Nothing has meaning or value inherently. It's up to me. It always was. I think that's the best best part. I can make my own meaning.

Took a walk down a minor state highway for ~5 miles/8 kilometres. Saw seventeen dead butterflies along the way, presumably victims of automobile collisions. It was kind of upsetting.
When I got back I found five ticks on my person. Two bites. I destroyed them all indifferently.
I guess that makes me pretty arbitrary.

Today is so bright and sunny! I've gotten some paperwork done and I walked to the post office and got my mothers mail for her. I took a shortcut coming home. Instead of walking to the other end of town to use a bridge to cross the river, I went right near the bank and balanced my way across the dam. It's a nice day. It's a nice breeze.

So I went back home at my parents house last weekend for some family related business. I was in the bathroom taking a leak and I noticed this peculiar design on the wall there. Now normally the walls look like some 2 colored mottled scribbles everywhere, but this time it was different. I noticed some kind of horse or fawn or something. I even took a picture of it after I was done with my business in there. Mind you, I've lived in that house for 19 years and not once did I notice this. I tried searching for any other hidden picture in there with no luck. Here's the picture I took, what do you guys think? Also, sorry for the very bad picture quality, I took it with a phone that is nearly 6 years old.
