Elementary has been slowly getting heavier resource-usage wise, which is fine but means it doesn't work as well as it used to on the old computer. I don't like some of the things it makes difficult (changing window managers eg). I do like a lot of things though, including how integrated the default programs are.>>55
I'm not entirely sure, maybe it's stockholm syndrome. The keybindings feel better to me than cua or vi binds. I like having different text-oriented tasks in the same interface. I like how well it works with lisp development, and I like being able to manipulate and poke around in functions as I work. As with Elementary, it has good and bad parts, but I really like the good parts, enough to put up with the bad parts.
