Oof, it's getting chilly these days. Thought I'd stop by and see how you all were doing. Not gonna lie, it's getting bad out there, seems as though the noose is tightening even more. I never thought I'd see the day were I could legitimately see a crackdown go on in the Cafe.

However, I like you guys, so I don't want you to get caught unawares. Here's a few friends that I've made these past few months and how to get ahold of them, maybe they'll help you maybe they won't but better to need and not have than....well, you get the picture.

Is this about the CISA, the TPP, and the TTIP? I think it is.
Yeah, bad times ahead, friend.

Me too. If anyone's interested, I have a "UTILITECH" brand space heater.

I have always loved the word space heater. You never see them in my country and in my mind the word was always linked to outer space. I would imagine you are running small-scale NASA equipment to heat your homes.

If only it would output NASA equipment levels of heat.

I think it's time to leave the www. We have spent a lot of work on centralizing everything over http, when specific protocols always did a better job of both quality and staying under the radar. The current www doesn't even do a good job at being hypertext.

Also, my heater is way too cold ;(

Try a cheap halogen/quartz heater - for the same wattage they feel a lot warmer. All their energy is focused into whatever the light lands on rather than the air, so they're a fair bit more efficient too.

This is also another really good one with a great summary on many ways to protect yourself. If you have half an ounce of care for your privacy, check it out.

I used to sleep real close to a space heater, but then I deemed it too much of a hazard, so I stole this blanket my mom bought which is super warm. It's made of this synthetic fur that is soft but also I'm not allergic to it, so I love it immensely. It also has the added bonus that if you stroke it real fast at night, you can see the sparkles.

I wish I knew where did my mom bought that blanket, because it's so good. SO GOOD.

Oh man, I think I know exactly what you're talking about and I've never thought of it like that. Those are the best damn blankets.
