Is that really so true? There are countries with slower paces that still manage to have unremarkable coffee. Your food situation has other factors going on that aren't necessarily tied to pace of life.

In places famed for their coffee, often, the concept of settling for a lesser cup almost doesn't exist, apart from the obvious exception of instant coffee. So this argument would be seen as pretty strange; as if I were saying to you, 'I don't eat bread everyday for the same reason that I don't eat at a 3 star restaurant every day.'
