I love this, what the fuck is it? The tattoos, the patterns on the clothing, they remind me of *something* from eastern europe but I can't remember what. I looked up "GON" but all I got was this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gon_%28manga%29

Apparently original art, unrelated to anything. Here's a link: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=58639501

Sorry; afraid I don't know, just saw it pop up in my Pixiv feed as >>2 said.

Yohan's tumblr ( http://yohan12yohan12.tumblr.com/career ) actually lists it as for "GON edutainment", but that's even less help...

It looked to be inspired by indigenous circumpolar dress to me though - Saami/Nganasan type stuff.

Unrelated, but Gon is a great manga well worth reading, especially if you are fan of works like YKK. The artwork is phenomenal and the narrative is entirely without dialogue, simply following a dinosaur in his daily life. Gon is generally considered one of the most prominent examples of a very imaginative period of avant-garde manga that had reach in the Japanese mainstream.
