The last snowbanks finally melted away this month, the temperatures rose last week, and spring in New England has officially begun! That means rainfall, which is one of my favorite kinds of weather.

I think my favorite kind of weather is in mid-fall when it's cool but not yet cold and the trees are all changing color.
I enjoy rain, but mostly from inside with a hot drink.

I'm excited for the sun after the rain, when the mushrooms begin grow. I tend to enjoy the summer heat and humidity and the breezes of autumn, it keeps me cheerful before the crushing despair of winter.

My favourite weather is late autumn rain, when the annoying insects are gone and it's cold enough to either get comfortable inside or take a peaceful walk outside.

With the exception of overcast & warm/humid, all weather is pretty lovely. There's a joy to be taken in every type in it's own way.
My favourite is probably the perfectly clear blue winter days where the whole world feels still, when you can see your breath hang in front of you.
The roaring autumn storms with winds howling and rain pouring are great to enjoy both from cozied up inside and with waterproofs on for a walk out on the cliffs, too.

My allergies are awful in the spring, but it's been pretty rainy and nice here. Tomorrow it'll rain more, so all the pollen will get stuck to the ground and away from my nose.
Also the mosquitos aren't out (yet), so it's a perfect time for walks through the city. I like to explore my uni's campus at dusk.
