I find most shmups to be fairly relaxing. Even though the gameplay can be very intense and require a lot of focus, I think that very aspect helps distract me from my "real problems" and other stressful thoughts associated with being an adult. Star Soldier and Super Star Solider are two of my favorites, because I know those game pretty well. Chourensha is also fun, even though I am terrible at it. It usually can help me relax and wind down.
