I found a bug in photoboard when I tried to upload an image

The uploaded image is without the extension (png/jpg/gif) and is accepted by the server but it gets no thumbnail. Later, the next image uploaded gives the previous image the same thumbnail and also the image number.
Examples are No.938 repeated twice with same thumbnail and No.936 repeated with same thumbnail.
I hope my analysis of the problem is correct.

I think it has more to do with what fonts are installed. I have 2 with this ant in it, 'Noto Color Emoji' and 'Symbola'. Though I can't seem to change them outside of gucharmap and even therein it'll only show the noto one in character details.
