I just watched Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, the (Christmas-themed!) first episode of the Simpsons. I hadn't seen it in many years, and had forgotten how dire the animation is, but it's a pretty good Christmas special.

I recommend watching 'Ed Wood' this holiday season. It was strangely fitting when I watched it last year.

I'm a big fan of Dickens' Christmas Carol and never fail to watch one or more of the movies every year.
The story always succeeds in making my day a bit better, I'm usually a bit cynical when it comes to Christmas themed media but this particular story has earned an exception.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but I like when people greet you for the holidays and say things like "Merry Christmas!" because it's polite and I'm not offended by other people's religions. But some people I know get really triggered about this stuff. It's pretty sad.
