i really dislike the bowlcut girl who they had to
bring camping towards the end of S1.
i don't think it needs a new character, but hopefully she's at least better than bowlcut girl.

I'm so sad they've cut Rins hair off in Heya Camp.

Do you mean Saitō Ena? She was so nice, I really liked her.

This show got a sequel but Panty and Stocking didn't

I honestly think PSG's ending was a troll and they never actually planned to make a second season. If they did intend to, I hope they don't now. It's been too long and Gainax isn't what they used to be.

It's a Kirara adaptation vs a Gainax production. The reasons should be obvious.

How is everyone enjoying the new season?

It's comfy and gently amusing. It makes me want to go camping again. I haven't been since I was a kid.

I feel the same, it's a great series to take it easy to. Haven't had the chance to do any outdoor activities since I was a kid but I certainly feel the urge to after watching this series.

It really doesn't get much better than waking up on a bit of a foggy morning in the middle of the woods and having some coffee by the remains of a campfire. Despite the sounds of the forest around you it feels incredibly quiet and peaceful.

I like how the photos on Rin's smartphone in the OP change to depict moments from the previous episode. And I like Seize The Day more than SHINY DAYS.

I enjoyed the new season, but I think I like the manga more. The tone is somehow different when its just those silent cross-hatched pages.
Anyways, it's always a bit funny to see such solidly set-in-a-moment-in-time posts somewhere like this.

I haven't read Yuru Camp, but in general, I prefer the anime of things like it. The nature sounds and relaxing music really help the atmosphere.

I'm rather similar, I only really got into anime a little later than people on imageboards normally do. I was always more of a manga person and I still prefer plot driven stuff in manga form than anime but as for SoLs, I enjoy it in anime.
