Weird feature films/cartoons/arthouse

Since this board has so many anime threads, I thought this thread would be a good refresher. I recently signed up on one of the retro film private trackers that doesn't have invites closed, and it looks like it has a lot of good stuff on it. For now I'll post-

-but if I find something noteworthy on the site I'll post the full film on mediafire or something and link it here

Very cool! I'll have to check these out soon, I really like crazy off the wall film. It's something about how you can get such an intense window into a person's world that needs to be concise and make its point and then get out.

On the note of weird film in general, I recently watched House (1977) and it was very striking. It's so far out there in terms of filmmaking technique its insane. It never lets up either, almost every minute includes some shot idea, sound design, or special effect I've never seen done in any other film. On top of all that its got fun characters and a story that's like Evil Dead 2 taken to the extreme. Very much enjoyed that, and to think I only watched it cause I kept seeing that weird orange cat poster pop up in random places.

here's a bit more of an 'arthouse' movie too. i first saw this at 3 am while a bit intoxicated but it was a very overwhelming emotional experience.

Excellent and refreshing idea for a thread, OP.
Here is my favorite obscure cartoonist on youtube.

Pilotredsun is hardly obscure, but the artist collective he is apart of (Wainstop) has some pretty cool people
Here's a video of theirs I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riV_yh6FvUg
GHXYK2 is a dude that's been making weird videos online for a while, here's a reverse chronology of his stuff: http://www.ghxyk2.com/
Swee neezy is has some pretty cool stuff as well, here's a video of his I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIYiEMYcXG4

Unrelated to Wainstop, a weird artist I like is David OReilly
Some films of his I enjoy:

I don't know if this fits in this thread but I like the film "Kin-Dza-Dza!" a lot:

Here's one I like. It's "Who Will Comfort Toffle?" / "Vem Ska Trösta Knyttet?", an old Moomins animation from 1980

Not obscure really but I just watched angel's egg and it is certainly
arthouse https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fIhKqaNp4Dc
I found it very mesmerizing. I have vague ideas of what it means, but regardless its a hell of an experience.

I'm probably the only one who likes Malice Doll. It's not that unknown, but it's certainly weird enough.

I don’t know if it’s unknown, but Paprika is one of my favorite, weird film indulgences.

Wolf House, completely stop motion with paper mache and painted walls (using walls as the frames)

These are nice finds! :)
A while back The House (2011) also called 'Jib' was released with english subs on netflix, but now it's impossible to find... it's a korean animated film about these houses that are about to be demolished, but they each have spirits. A woman moves into the neighborhood and is able to see and communicate with the spirits, so she tries to stop the demolition. There's also a segment that has a cat who collects all the lost things in life, or something like that(?)The story is very hazy in my memory, but I do remember it being kinda sad at the end. The feeling of old things being destroyed through the inevitable passage of time.
Anyway, if anyone knows any where it could be watched I would love to see it again. Every now and then it crosses my mind. Though I suppose it's rather fitting the film be lost to time just like those houses in the movie.

The Flying Luna Clipper is a weird movie but in a good way. Made almost entirely with pixel art in the 80s.
