העלא!
yom kippur is the holiest day of the year in judaism. is there anybody here that observes it? and if so, what do you or your family usually do on this special day? admittedly, i don't know much about the holiday, so i'm curious to learn more.

and i would like to remind the non-observers that this is a board for taking it easy. so... whatever you do, try not to post rants here.

It seems not.

what do you or your family usually do on this special day?
I'm not Jewish.

It doesn't seem fair to mention a topic like this and then write that it should be exempt from criticism. If I made a thread on Adolf Hitler's birthday, would it be fair for me to put a clause like this?

Judaism is, like Christianity and Islam, an evil religion dedicated to an evil god, and I want the world to be free from this evil god's malign influence.

You guys type like JRPG villains when you dislike something political.

Hitler's birthday threads are a loved tradition on certain boards
