When I went to Japan in 2019 I went hiking in the mountains around Tokyo. All of the trails were relaxing, but one of them was somewhat harder though still not too bad for a non-hiker like me. It was quite long and I forgot water but thankfully part of the trail ran across a river so I was able to take a break and drink some. It was quite the experience, seeing such clean running natural water in the middle of a chilly winter afternoon.

I took the trail all the way to the end and at the top, I was greeted with a direct line of sight to Mt Fuji. I hadn't taken the bullet train to Osaka yet, so Mt Fuji hadn't even crossed my mind up until this point. However when I got to the top of trail and saw the sight that I saw, I instinctively knew what I was looking it.

Mt Fuji is just so huge and so commanding that you simply just know when you're looking at it. I think I'll upload a picture to the photo gallery later. Of course it doesn't do it justice, but I think it's a good picture to share anyway.
